That's a great price for a highly regarded saw. I have it and like it a lot. My only complaints are: I think the fence system is cheap, and the neck on the light is a little too short and won't stay up.

make the cabinet the same depth as the fridge.
or overlay your doors.
Or narrow up your pullouts to accommodate the doors
an inset door on a standard butt hinge is not the solution for pullout slides without some modification

It won't remain movement free if it is still at a high MC inside, which is likely. Bring it in the shop and let it sit for a year or so and then it might be stable enough to use.

From my experience and a couple of web-sites...depends on type of CA, ambient air temperature, humidity, frequency of container opening, proper reseal of container etc.
Seems like 6-12 months is most reasonable expected time frame.
Couple of sites that might give you better information

I think William Ng is saying to use a fine enough stone that does not leave visible scratches. All sharpening stones will abrade steel and leave scratches, depending on the type of abrasive and grit size. Generally speaking, from 4000# and higher, the scratches are fine enough to polish metal.

Wooden Plane question |

Steve Knight of Knight Toolworks used to offer wooden planes with a tapered shim on the forward edge of the mouth. As the mouth wore open, you would adjust the wedge lower, then trim it. web page Your idea should work, though you may have to use wedges to get it to stay in place while the glue dries, then trim it so that the plane won't choke with shavings.

Sandra,
I'm not sure I understand your question. It sounds like maybe you have a felt bag. Is this true? If you really think you need to clean it, just hit it with a flat stick to knock off the cake on the inside. Be careful not to damage the bag.
You posted recently asking about D/C systems. Is this new? For most of the D/C systems I can think of, you would not want to clean the filter unless and until the air flow really slowed down. Some accumulation on the inside is useful because it catches finer particles, which is a good thing. If I missed your point, please provide more details about what you are trying to clean.
