Welcome to posting, looks like long time member.
I would only ask you what are you planning to do with the saw? You've jumped over the normal starting gates by quite a wide margin it seems. Do you feel you actually have need of that much saw? I only ask that because I am one of few people here who don't relish spending other people's money. I think if you get what serves your needs, for the least outlay of $$$$, you win.

I'd use 3M VHB tape. With a little heat from a hair dryer it could be removed again if the table needs to be re-purposed but it would be difficult for the little hoodlums to remove. We use it at work to anchor things when we don't want to drill holes like on the side of anesthesia machines.

I don't know who your REMCO is, (there have been several different companies with that name according to Mr Google)
But your saw handle shape resembles the Disston "Imp", one of the saws Disston would etch to order for re-sellers such as hardware stores etc , (and maybe for REMCO ) The Imp is illustrated with a straight back (I'm not sure if your saw is straight backed ) 1918 Disston catalogue for the Imp lists a saw size range from 12" to 30", although they may never have produced the extreme short or long sizes. It looks like your saw has brass screws which means it likely pre-dates 1947-ish when plated steel screws took over
