Is Being Brain-Dead a Requirement for Decorators? |

These are the same people that tell you to get white carpet in your house. They feature it in all their ads. The magazines play along.
I inherited "silver" carpet in my house (very, very light gray--nearly white). I ripped it out.
At the suggestion of the store's interior decorator I bought a beige couch. My dog would use it to wipe his face. Threw that out.
Maurice Villency is a high end furniture retailer. I went in there and they had a rendering of a room they decorated. A king sized bed with a extended L-shaped couch that wrapped around it. I asked, "The couch, its there so everyone gets a good seat when watching the couple in bed. Is that it?"
Yeah, I have no use for interior decorators. Interior designers are much better (they have architecture training and can make structural changes).

Stick with insinkerator. They are available everywhere as are the parts for them. I bought a waste king for our kitchen a few years ago to save a few $ and regret it. The design of the rubber flap doesn't let water through at anything faster than a trickle. Your have to stick a utensil in there to open it up and get water and food into it.
When I finish the countertops and the rest of the doors in the kitchen I'm going to pitch the waste king in the garbage. I understand why the only place I have seen them retail is at sutherlands which carries mainly trailer and rent home quality fixtures. (At least the last remaining one here does)

Highly recommend the wagner steamer. Delux model has attachments for other cleanings. Cost me about $100 4 yrs ago. All of the goops and tiger scrapers were a waste.
A vinegar spay seemed to help (before steaming), but it was marginal at best.

Well, you can use the new one right- or left-handed; with the shooting plane, to get right- and left-handed use, you have to buy two.
And, with the grip at the back, the shooting plane calls out for a track to run in (and when is LV issuing the track and fence that Rob's hinted at?), while the miter plane, with the grip aligned with the center of mass, might work better for simpler shooting boards.
But I'm just speculatin'; don't know for sure what the LV elves had in mind for the two designs. I'd be happy to run a comparison test if someone wants to give me an example of each plane...
