Dewalt 611 router Lum n Abner special?
Posted by: JDuke - 11-14-2015, 09:54 PM - Forum: Woodworking Power Tools - Replies (1)

Pretty much the same for most power tools with separate components: look at price alone for a PC 7518 motor. How about buying a D-handle base for a PC 690? Want to buy some spare batteries for a Dewalt 18V tool? Better buy is the whole kit!

Code for lights over shower and tub?

We did some construction about 15 years ago that included can lights above tub and shower. The electrician said then needed to be enclosed per code. Is that right? I'm thinking about changing them out to something with an exposed bulb. Is there a bulb for a can that would have a coating over it to make it legal? Maybe he was in error?

Thanks

The light in my shower and the one over the garden tub both have a trim ring that covers the lens, unlike the can lights in the rest of the house where the flood bulb is accessible.

Repair an Epoxy Bar Top Finish
Posted by: David G - 11-14-2015, 09:25 PM - Forum: Finishing - Replies (1)

Those two part polyester pour on finishes will laugh at ordinary paint and varnish strippers. Wipe the table top down with rubbing alcohol, allow it to dry and pour another coat. The finish is self-leveling so the cracks should fill flat.

Now that I have a Delta 20" BS, where to get parts?
Posted by: bobs64ford352 - 11-14-2015, 08:07 PM - Forum: Woodworking Power Tools - Replies (3)

Grizzly sells quite an assortment of hand wheels. Depending on the parts you are looking for they might have them also if you find a similar model.

If this looks familiar Griz Go550/Go551 You could call Griz about parts info. Ultimately if it runs now, that is your only worry later.

Manual

If it is that model, this thread has info on maker that might further your search

Not that model, I got BUPKUS

Good luck on the search. PM me the price. I may have a counter offer for you, probably longer drive

  Breaker Question

Strange.

It's been my experience that HOM is the prefix for Square D line of circuit breakers they call HOMELINE.
