This piece was made from African Blackwood the body was turned the legs are handcrafted 7" x 9" x 3" the final finish is with CA glue.

I bet the legs were fun to make. Did you paint the red spot on the bottom?

Thank you everyone, Yes I painted the red Hour Glass shape on the underside of the body. The whole project took me less than a day to make. More critters yet to come.

Nice! i want to make a coffee table with a spider base and put a glass top on it
