Thread Modes Please do not use this business - Arlin Eastman - 08-07-2025 I posted on a reel of theirs on facebook telling everyone about Lichtenburg burning on if it is not used saftly it can kill people and to take all safely precautions when using it since we in the woodturning section know of people who died doing this. He threated me and told me to "Don’t post your bullshit on my page" So I really do not know if they are safe or not do buy at your risk Their website If you get the same hassle then spread the word to not use them. I do not know if I need to dome this or not but I want you to understand the danger of this is all. RE: Thread Modes Please do not use this business - EightFingers - 08-08-2025 I would send this link the the American Association of Woodturners. They also warn people about this. You might also let Facebook know this guy is promoting a dangerous activity. You can reference the AAW website to them so you’ll have credibility RE: Thread Modes Please do not use this business - Arlin Eastman - 08-08-2025 (Yesterday, 10:42 AM)EightFingers Wrote: I would send this link the the American Association of Woodturners. Biggest thing why I posted this is because it is very dangerous there is no hurt if something happens you die. When this first came out years ago I thougth it was beautiful and wanted to do it. Thank Goodness for my frieinds here they talked me out of it and later a friend died from doing this after I told him about what I heard. I still think they do beautiful things but I will not do it and anyone else just be very very cautious about safety. I looked at their website and I really could not see what any safety was applied to thier componants. Thanks and if you buy one Hopfully not from this company since they do not acknowlege safety do so with safety in mind and to keep any part of you from touching the wood or probes during operation. Ony when it is turned off and make sure of that too then move the probes. |
