Clear Vue dust collectors out of business@ - iublue - 07-15-2025 Just found out (maybe old news) that Clear Vue is out of business. I guess the owners are retiring. Phone Number that I had is already reassigned and the website is gone except for a page saying they are retiring and that they would sell the business. I just bought a cyclone about 3 years ago. I hope I don't need anything that I can not get elsewhere!! RE: Clear Vue dust collectors out of business@ - fredhargis - 07-15-2025 I think you're good. The motor is readily available (do you have the Baldor they started selling?) and the electronics for on/off are easily put together. Filters can still be bought from Wynn if needed, or buy a different brand and cobble it together. It's a shame, they tried selling the business and i guess they found no buyers. I know I'd like to get a few more of those 6" blast gates from them; oh, well. I exchanged emails with DeAnn in December of last year! When did they shut everything down? RE: Clear Vue dust collectors out of business@ - fredhargis - 07-16-2025 I'm not exactly sure, but I did see something about early this year. RE: Clear Vue dust collectors out of business@ - taxman - 07-17-2025 Sorry to hear they shut down. Wishing them good luck in retirement, RE: Clear Vue dust collectors out of business@ - Arlin Eastman - 07-17-2025 (07-15-2025, 02:13 PM)iublue Wrote: Just found out (maybe old news) that Clear Vue is out of business. I mentioned that in my post in my shop pictures about a months ago when I told everyone hi again and said how I missed everyone. I got mine from one of the guy here at a really good price. The only thing I do not like about it is the dust boards they used since they broke off pieces so easy and had to remake several out of plywood. I know I sure would love to have a remote switch for it instead of walking back and forth all the time. I put shut off panals everywhere I changed direction so I could chose where the air was going and still have alot of suction. The thing is really powerful. Arlin, I sold you that dust collector. Sorry you had to remake the MDF parts. I agree with you that I never did like the MDF. Did you ever go out east? We talked about you swinging by here for a visit. |
