2004-2007 Sawstop CB Saw upgrade deal - BloomingtonMike - 07-09-2025

This will most likely only affect the buyers of the early Professional Cabinet saw in the 2004-2007 range or so.

Making sure you early adopters of the sawstop saw read that they are offering a deal on the upgrade to the latest brakes they use.
Here is the link to the 5hp upgrade: https://www.sawstopstore.com/product/cb-ics-51230/
3hp version is https://www.sawstopstore.com/product/cb-ics-31230/

This move will help keep the brake technologies more readily accessible.
Its a decent job of upgrading the saw so be advised what it entails.

They also are offering previous cb customers a 10% off to buy a new saw!

My next full saw will be that crazy Felder with their hand sense technology but that costs like a truck so for now $388 plus tax and shipping to upgrade my SS is my solution.

Mike, not sure I follow.  I bought the Professional Cabinet Saw before it first came out as a tester.  I checked both links, and they seem to apply to the Industrial Cabinet Saw, which was offered before the PCS.   This seems to be limited to the CB model of the Industrial Cabinet Saw -  is there a link that mentions the Professional Cabinet Saw?

The cb saw was originally called their professional cabinet saw and was the originally offered saw before pcs and ics were terms they used. When they released the pcs the name changed to ics for that cb professional cabinet saw line. Here is the label on my saw showing the name in 2006 of the 5hp saw.

RE: 2004-2007 Sawstop CB Saw upgrade deal - BloomingtonMike - 07-14-2025

Hi everyone. Thanks for the welcome back. Yes sir the shop has been done a long while. Still playing with fun stuff as usual. I've added some tech like usual to the toys. Ill post up some shop pics later today.

This year I added a parking lot outside. Just added to the gravel outside and extended a culvert to make crossing a ditch I had super easy and pulling in easier. About 3500sqft of that.

Latest big toy was a stand alone portable hot water sink like they have at Sam's club. You can roll it anywhere. Have fresh water tank,, grey water tank, and instant hot water heater under it.

Most die hards still posting here these days?

The cb upgrade parts came in this week. Super fast. Also my old brakes arrrived and they promptly swapped those out for me and they have shipped them back and they should arrive Saturday. Awesome they swapped those out.

Now I need to tear this saw apart I guess!
