Planer Knife Gauge recommendations - DogwoodTales - 04-29-2025 I'm in the process of refurbishing an ol' Sears n Roebuck (Belsaw) planer. I'm going to need a knife gauge for this thing when I get it running. Any recommendations? thanks RE: Planer Knife Gauge recommendations - Ray Newman - 04-29-2025 Would these work: https://infinitytools.com/products/planer-knife-setting-jig-for-full-size-planers-pair How-2-do-it video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk-5J6DkIHY RE: Planer Knife Gauge recommendations - jteneyck - 04-29-2025 (04-29-2025, 03:17 PM)Ray Newman Wrote: Would these work: https://infinitytools.com/products/planer-knife-setting-jig-for-full-size-planers-pair Dogwood, I've got a set of those knife jigs you can have for the cost of shipping. I used them when I had a Foley Belsaw planer but now have a machine with its own knife setting gage, so no longer need them. Yours for the asking.
