Christmas Crib - David G - 12-28-2015

Finished up a crib for the first grandbaby on Christmas morning. Thanks to MichaelMouse. I shamelessly copied from his picture post.

Curly maple. 200% concentration of Golden Brown dye. Lacquer topcoat.

Slats were sized to fit a MorticePal slot. Fun and easy project.

Beautiful figure in that maple.

Reminds me of my granddaughter, whom we tease about having her mother's face. She says "but I look better with it." I think you showed me up pretty well.

Instant heirloom! Well done, Gramps! Love the color you selected.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I liked your design better than anything else I saw. Added the knockdown bolts for transport ease.

Really nicely done.

Can you tell us the color and brand of the dye?

It really looks nice and pops the curl.

An heirloom piece for certain.
Looks well made for sure.
Congrats on the first grand child.
