So, am making one board and three serving trays.

Board is done, trays are awaiting handles. Maple and walnut. Mineral oil applied.

Is there a backer board to hold it together?
Simply gluing it wouldn't be too sturdy.

Pretty simple. Make identical boards of each wood--1 maple and 1 walnut.

Dude is kinda irritating, but shows the process.
