John, the cabinet for the K3 Winner varies according to the specs you choose. Mine is a 49" x 49" footprint. (49" width x 49" slider wagon).

Thanks Derek.  I didn't see that option when I looked at the Hammer manual I found earlier.  Looking on Felder's website, I now see it.  How much does the slider fence add to the width?

John, the CC fence can add 3' or as long or short as you prefer. It is removable in seconds.

There's an Altendorf slider for sale in the Orlando area for $3K if anyone is looking.  None of the digital stuff but I'm sure a great saw.

Derek,
Do you have any issues with alignment of the slider -- either from rolling around on its base or with swapping the crosscut fence in/out?

Hi Matt

My K3 was installed and commissioned (set up) by Felder about 8 or 9 years ago. It remains as accurate as that first day. The only maintennce work I have done has now, twice, cleaned the dust and lubricated the thread for the rise-and-fall. Dust will eventually stiffen the action, and so a little air and graphite spray does the trick.

The crosscut fence has an adjustable depth stop. The fence is removed and replaced in the exact spot it was. I do check for accuracy each time, which is easy to do with a long square.

I have made a number of fixtures for the wagon. Below is my version of a Felder mitre square ...
