C.L.R. or even vinegar might make it suffice 'til the replacement comes. RE: 'Nother Shower Valve - Petertaylor - 02-08-2025 When guests were going to use the guest room, it bothered me that when the shower diverter was lifted up, so much water still dribbled into the tub. I thought something was worn out. So I bought a new spout-diverter. The new one dribbled water just like the old one. Apparently they are designed that way. If they seat too well, deposits build up and the valve gets stuck and quits working at all. I see a lot of these. Especially in basement baths where they aren't used a lot. |
