Roly RE: Hot Water Tank - Maddog - 01-16-2025 No love blowing backwards. Appreciate the replies. Ended up getting a transfer pump. Removed the pipe plug on the top of the tank and pumping it out. I'm going to have a new a new flushing/cleaning regime. New tank going in today. RE: Hot Water Tank - MstrCarpenter - 02-06-2025 I know this is an older, solved, thread, so just something to consider should the need arise. The (cold) water inlet is already piped to the bottom of the tank, and a garden hose with two washers will seal on 3/4" NPT. And...it's not as bad as siphoning gas. ![]() |
