Stain Prevention

Question

Applying masking tape to prevent stains How can I prevent my pipe clamps from staining the wood while I'm gluing up a panel?

Answer

Apply a strip of masking tape to the pipe, see photo. It prevents the iron from reacting with the water in the glue and staining the wood.
